Sohail is a PhD candidate at Monash University, Australia, where his research focuses on enhancing the stability of power systems. His research interests lie in grid-forming inverters, with two core objectives: the translation of grid code requirements into formal control metrics and the synthesis of robust controllers using data-driven models.
Sohail holds a Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Gold Medalist, 2022) and an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (2024) from the University of the South Pacific, Fiji
