Ehsan Sharifian

Ehsan Sharifian is a PhD student at the Risk Analytics and Optimization Chair in the Electrical Engineering Department at EPFL, co-advised by Professors Daniel Kuhn and Andreas Krause. He received his M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in 2024. His research interests lie in distributionally robust optimization, with a focus on developing principled approaches to robust reinforcement learning. He is also interested in causality, game theory, and high-dimensional statistics for modeling complex systems.
