Understanding complex systems demands the rigor of control theory. NCCR Automation advances this goal by uniting experts from diverse fields, fostering innovation through interdisciplinary collaboration.
Federico Porcari received both his Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Automation and Control Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2021 and 2023, respectively. While pursuing his Master's Degree, he spent a semester at the Delft University of Technology (TUDelft), the Netherlands. Since December 2023, he is a Ph.D. candidate at Politecnico di Milano under the supervision of Prof. Simone Formentin and Prof. Valentina Breschi. In March 2025, he started a research period at ETH with Florian Dorfler. His research interests are in data-driven control and system theory applied to explainable system identification and control.
