Automation is a fundamental tool for humanity's progress. Tasks and processes are automated so that human labor can be directed towards higher-level problems. This makes it inherently important for our future as a species as we encounter challenges such as demographic crises and climate change.
I am a PhD candidate at ETH Zürich working on optimal control and reinforcement learning applied to robotics. Together with students and staff of ETH, I co-founded the ETH AI Club, a place to foster building inside the ETH community. I am also the treasurer of Zurich.tech, a non-profit organization focused on scientific communication. In my free time you can find me running around the swiss Alps.
