Barton Chen is a scientist of Urban Energy Systems Lab in Empa. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham, UK. Barton has experties in energy systems modelling and analysis especially the integration of renewable energy and energy storage systems. He supports the regional energy systems modelling on Integrated Energy System Planning for ESP Sisslerfeld.
