Alberto received the Laurea Magistrale degree (cum laude) in Ingegneria dell'Automazione from the University of Padova in 2013 and the Ph.D. degree in Control Theory from the Control and Power Group at Imperial College London in 2017, under the supervision of Alessandro Astolfi. He then joined the Control Group and Sidney Sussex College as a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge to collaborate with Rodolphe Sepulchre. Currently, he is a postdoctoral researcher in the Automatic Control Laboratory at ETH Zürich, working with Florian Dörfler and John Lygeros. He is also the creator and host of the inControl podcast.
After NCCR Automation Alberto moved to a professorship at the University of British Columbia.
