There is something fascinating about making a machine move at high speeds and with high accuracy, using a control law that is elegantly simple.

Philippe Schuchert is a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Prof. Alireza Karimi. He is interested in robust and LPV data-driven control, with applications to real mechatronical systems. He is currently working on the following two INNOSUISSE projects “30595.1 IP-ENG Optimal data-driven control tuning for high-precision machines” and “48289.1 IP-ENG Adaptive data-driven controller for non-linear lightweight structures and high-precision machines”.
