My interest lies at the intersection between machine learning and control theory and I am confident that NCCR Automation offers a stimulating environment to delve into this field and be able to shape the future through collaborative exploration.
Laura is a PhD Student in the DECODE group at EPFL under the supervision of Prof. Ferrari-Trecate. She received a BSc. in Information Engineering and a MSc. in Control Systems Engineering from the University of Padova and during her master’s thesis she spent a semester at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence at the University of Cyprus (UCY). Her current research interests include control theory, machine learning and optimization. During her free time, she really enjoys hiking in nature and playing sports.
