Marianne Schmid Daners is a Senior Scientist in the Biomedical Systems Group at the Institute for Dynamical Systems and Control at ETH Zurich. At the interface of clinical research and engineering, pathophysiological understanding of cardiovascular and intracranial dynamics is her passion. Her research focuses on modeling, control, and testing of biological systems, as well as on the development and control of biomedical devices for the treatment of heart failure and hydrocephalus.
