ZAPPY – robotics workshops for girls & boys in Lausanne

We are happy to continue to support the Zappy workshops, where children can learn about robotics.

In spring 2026, the EPFL campus in Lausanne welcomed 16 boys and 16 girls for 11 two-hour sessions of the Zappy, robotics workshops for girls and boys. Pupils worked together to build their own robot, and were encouraged to think creatively, exchange ideas and get hands-on, all under the guidance of four students from EPFL microengineering. 

At the end of the workshop, parents were invited to come and celebrate at the closing session and watch their children receive certificates.
