Using more solar power without expanding the electricity grid: researchers at the Automatic Control Laboratory (IfA) have shown that the capacity of existing grids can be increased significantly through the coordinated control of solar installations.

Grâce à la programmation dynamique, comme nous l’avons vu précédemment, nous avons fini par trouver l’itinéraire le plus court jusqu’au sommet. Nous sommes enfin au sommet de la montagne ! Sophie Hall, a doctoral student at D-ITET’s Automatic Control Laboratory (IfA) and NCCR Automation, has been researching carbon-aware computing within Google’s global data centre network.
