NCCR Automation enables me to work on theoretical foundations of real-world problems and analyze them through the lens of statistics and mathematics.
Amir is a Ph.D. student at EPFL under the supervision of Professor Negar Kiyavash and Professor Matthias Grossglauser. His interests lie in statistical learning theory, causality, and online decision-making. Before starting Ph.D., he did his bachelor of computer engineering and minor in mathematics at Sharif University of Technology (Iran).
