Andrey Kharitenko

Andrey is a PhD student at the Optimization & Decision Intelligence Group at ETH Zurich under the supervision of Niao He and Florian Dorfler. He received this B.Sc. and M.Sc. in mathematics from the University of Stuttgart with focus on functional analysis, spectral theory as well as robust control under the supervision of Jens Wirth and Carsten Scherer in 2019 and 2022 respectively.  In 2024 he additionally received his M.Sc. degree in control engineering from TU Eindhoven.  His broad interests include operator theory, optimization in probability spaces and distributionally robust control.
