Modern power systems need smart, automated control. I see NCCR Automation as a platform to collaborate on this with people from around the world.

I am a research associate and fifth year PhD student at RWTH Aachen University in Aachen, Germany, currently with the Automatic Control Laboratory through the NCCR Automation Fellowship. My research interests include real-time power system operation considering TSO-DSO interaction and the application of methods from control theory and optimization in the context of coordinated flexibility provision across cascaded transmission and distribution grid hierarchies.
