Marco Forgione is a Senior Researcher at SUPSI-IDSIA in Lugano. He holds an M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the University of Pavia, Italy (2009) and a Ph.D. in Systems and Control from Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands (2014).
Prior to joining IDSIA, he served as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Lecturer at École Centrale de Lyon (2014–2015) and worked in industry as an R&D Control Engineer at Whirlpool EMEA (2015–2018). His research interests focus on the intersection of machine learning, system identification, and automatic control.
