Michel Obrist is a postdoctoral researcher at Empa specialising in energy system modeling. Michel holds an MSc in Sustainable Energy from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), and has completed his PhD in the field of energy system analysis at ETHZ (CH). His doctoral thesis conducted at the Paul Scherrer Institute (CH) focused on Long-Term Energy and Emission Pathways for the Swiss Industry.
