Scott Sussex is a doctorate student at the Learning & Adaptive Systems Group in the Institute for Machine Learning at ETH Zurich, supervised by Andreas Krause. He joined the National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR) Automation in September 2021. Scott holds a master’s degree in Computer Science from ETH Zurich and a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University. He has previously worked at Carnegie Mellon University. His research interests lie at the intersection of reinforcement learning and causality.
