Zara Malgir is a PhD student and research assistant at the Institute for Biomedical Ethics at the University of Basel (IBMB). She holds an MSc in Business and Technology and a BA in Business and Economics from the University of Basel, with minors in Behavioral Science and in Law & Political Science.
Previously, she worked as an intern at the IBMB during Phase I of the NCCR Automation, where she researched the ethics of autonomous vehicles. In her PhD, Zara now focuses on bridging technological progress and practical ethical guidance by developing ethical frameworks for responsible automation in society.
