Title: "Behavioral evidence from market experiments"

Abstract: We present data from a project that assembles large numbers of controlled market experiments to reproduce and stress-test phenomena of convergence to competitive equilibrium that are known from some of the seminar economic experiments on market behavior such as Vernon Smith's from 1962. At market level, we confirm prior findings, and add novel insights into timing and pattern of convergence. At the individual behavior level, we identify several key ingredients that suggest fruitful avenues for iterations of market and information design.
