I am excited to give my contribution to make complex cyber physical systems with a positive impact on society secure
Giovanni Camurati is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the System Security Group at ETH Zurich. Before, he was a Ph.D. student at EURECOM in Sophia-Antipolis. He explores the security issues that arise from the interplay of hardware, software, and radio transceivers in embedded and mobile devices. For example, he studied Screaming Channels, a novel type of side channel attacks against wireless devices. He also worked on dynamic firmware analysis and hardware design. His research was published at ACM CCS, IACR TCHES, USENIX Security, and it was covered by The Register and Le Monde. He holds a MS in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Torino (cum laude) and from Télécom-ParisTech (Diplôme d’ingénieur).
