Alain Schöbi

Alain is a PhD student at EPFL, jointly supervised by Daniel Kuhn, John Lygeros, and Giancarlo Ferrari-Trecate. He received his master’s degree in Robotics, Systems and Control from ETH Zurich in 2025, where he worked on distributionally robust control for his master’s thesis. His research interests include stochastic optimization, machine learning, and control theory, with a focus on robust decision-making under uncertainty.
