NCCR Automation Mentor-Mentee Lunch
For the purpose to benefit the professional development this may encompass topics such as career planning or general guidance in research, its merits and challenges. In principle, any subject with importance for the academic career may be subject of discussion for this informal activity. We would like to kick-start an active mentor-mentee relationship with the mentor-mentee lunch format by reimbursement of travel expenses and one lunch meal cost. After the mentor-mentee lunch, it is up to the fellow to organise the further consultation with the PI.
Target group for this program:
The NCCR Automation PhD students and postdoctoral researchers.
Location and timing guidelines:
- During the week,
- as close as possible to the PI’s working area (or where it is most suitable for the PI to meet),
- one meeting per fellow per year.
Budget:
NCCR Automation covers the following costs for the fellows:
- Travel costs (fellows with GA will not be reimbursed)
- Expenses for the joint meal up to 27.50 CHF per person1.
In case you are unsure about something or have questions in general, we kindly ask you to contact the management team prior to having any expenses.
Please send all receipts (scans) to the management team in conjunction with the filled out reimbursement form.
