Amber Srivastava
Taking an idea from conception to actual practice and seeing its positive impact on the society motivates me to conduct engineering research
Amber Srivastava was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Automatic Control Laboratory, ETH Zurich and has now taken up a position as professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, New Dehli (India). He obtained his PhD in Mechanical Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign (UIUC), USA. Before starting graduate school at UIUC, he briefly worked with a leading FMCG (ITC Ltd.) in India gaining experience over manufacturing processes, and logistics and supply chain practices.
His areas of research interests are Parameterized Sequential Decision Making Problems, Manufacturing process optimization, Combinatorial Optimization, and Control systems. He holds an MS in Mathematics from UIUC and a Bachelor of Technology from IIT-Kanpur.
