Babies do not need exact knowledge about life to grow up safely. In the same way, it does not necessarily take an accurate model to robustly control.

Baiwei Guo is a PhD student in EPFL, under the supervision of Prof. Giancarlo Ferrari Trecate. His main research focus is on robust data-driven control with performance guarantees. He obtained his bachelor degrees in Electrical Engineering and Applied Mathematics from Harbin Institute of Technology and master degree in Electrical Engineering from ETH Zurich.
