Hanmin Cai is a Scientist with the Urban Energy Systems Lab at Empa, where he currently leads the cluster of Demand-side Management.  Hanmin Cai received a Ph.D. degree from Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and a Msc. degree from EPFL. His primary interest lies in data-driven solutions that harness demand-side flexibity, aiming to support low-carbon energy system operation in a reliable and interpretable manner.
