Lorenzo Nespoli is a researcher at the University of Applied Sciences of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI), where he’s leading the Intelligent Energy Systems team. He holds a Ph.D. from the doctoral program in energy of EPFL and a master degree in energy engineering from Politecnico di Milano. He co-founded Hive Power, where he’s currently a scientific researcher in the area of forecasting and control. His research interests include data-efficient learning algorithms for forecasting and control and the use of non-parametric models in optimization.
