Bridging the gap toward future power systems requires automation, control, and NCCR Automation’s academic-industry expertise.
Jovan Krajacic is a PhD student at the Power Systems Laboratory (PSL) at ETH Zürich, under the supervision of Prof. Gabriela Hug. His research focuses on the modeling, stability analysis, and control of low-inertia, converter-dominated power systems. In particular, he is interested in large-scale system modeling using electromagnetic transient (EMT) tools, analyzing the impact of power-electronic devices on system stability, and developing adaptive, model-based and model-free tuning methods for converter control algorithms.
Prior to his doctoral studies, he received his BSc and MSc degrees in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from the University of Belgrade and ETH Zürich, respectively.
