"From a scientific perspective, this period offered me the opportunity to explore a research topic that I would not otherwise have had the chance to address. It also allowed me to start new collaborations with experts in control and machine learning and to be part of an inspiring research group at one of Europe’s leading universities.  From a personal perspective, it has been an absolute pleasure to be part of such a welcoming and stimulating environment. I had the opportunity to meet new people from Switzerland and abroad, live in a country different from Italy, and travel within Switzerland.
